Walk the streets of the hills behind Diano Marina and marvel at their colors

In Andora you leave the Via Aurelia and after a demanding climb, among olive trees and vineyards, you arrive at Colla Micheri. Time seems to have stopped in this delightful medieval town famous for hosting Norwegian explorer Thor Hayerdal. We recommend a visit, then with a nice descent you reach Laigueglia and quickly Alassio. After the hard climb of Moglio you reach the Crocetta, time for a photo of the bay and off with your legs in the saddle on the panoramic road that offers a splendid view both towards the sea and towards the Ligurian hinterland. After Testico begins the ascent of the       Passo del Ginestro where the summit is conquered at an altitude of 677 m asl. Just enough time to catch your breath and go downhill to the valley immersed in the green of the olive trees through Cesio, Torria, Chiusanico and Pontedassio. Your last energies will be needed to tackle the final climb of the day to reach Diano Arentino, before returning to the hotel we recommend a stop in Diano Castello!

Great hotel

We are staying for 7 nights, as part of a group and not only do we like the place, but so do the others in the group. Our spacious room (with hangers in the wardrobe..!!) has a balcony overlooking the pool and although you can hear the road, ignore the previous and historic ‘railway’ comments - as that was rerouted away from the coast a year ago. The hotel is very clean, has a selection of areas to relax and the food is very good. A short walk from the beaches and the charming town. Would recommend.

“Great Holiday”

Had a fantastic time at this hotel with our two daughters (5 and 9). Loved the wee 'themed nights' they had every few nights. Our youngest daughter was given a teddy when we arrived on her bed. It is now her most treasured possession and its name.....Raffy!!! What a lovely welcoming touch. Lovely staff, great food, clean hotel - booked up for 2016, can't wait!!!

Great pool… with a good hotel around!

During the first week of September (please note, not in crammed August nor July...) we were very very lucky as we got every single day with bright sun, clear blue sky and lovely temperature. Thus, almost everything at Raffy shinned, thanks also to a bunch of characteristics that make this hotel a pretty good pick for most of the families....

Good value hotel for families

We stayed here for 4 nights in August - as a family of 5 we had a room with a double bed, bunkbeds and a single bed - it was spacious with a small entrance hall (handy for storing airbeds, etc.) and a large bathroom. The beach is a short walk away through backstreets and the facilities at the beach were great…
