A beautiful excursion that goes directly from our hotel to over 900 meters above sea level, always with a sea view!
We start pedaling towards Diano San Pietro, continue uphill along an asphalted road surrounded by olive trees, which climbs to the hamlet of La Colla and leads to an altitude of 350 m, where the dirt road begins. The dirt road, with good ground, climbs into the Mediterranean scrub leaving wide spaces for panoramic views on both sides. We stay on the ridge all the time, gently gaining altitude until we reach the last stretch that takes us to the top. Surely you will have the opportunity to meet a beautiful herd of horses, grazing freely.
The last stretch puts a strain on the most trained legs, but the summit (989 m), the watershed between Imperia and Dianese, gives us a wonderful 360 ° view of the sea and mountains worthy of the effort made!
We retrace the path of the outward journey to Pratini, we immediately start with a mule track and after 2 km we will find in front of us the Pigs trail, the longest of the 6 in the Golfo Dianese Bike Park, rather technical, with various ups and downs, over 20 jumps in succession between natural (and otherwise) drops and kicks. The arrival is in San Bartolomeo al mare near the Rovere, not far from the hotel.
